About Me

My Story

I have loved art for as long as I can remember.  In my early years, I was always trying to get my hands on whatever was crafty and creative. When it came time to choose a career path in college, it was a no brainer that I wanted to pursue art.  Which is exactly what I did. Some years later I fell in love with an incredible, humorous, and handsome man and started my family. Being able to practice my art while raising our four kids has been such a blessing as it’s allowed me to spend time on what brings me life and self-care.  Nowadays as they are growing older, my passion for painting has also grown into a full-time career. 

My Passion

To me, abstract art can speak more than words at times. Emotions can be a funny thing and if we don’t truly know ourselves, it can be difficult to navigate our emotional lives. It takes time to build upon that awareness, but ultimately it is worth the rollercoaster of painful, victorious, and sometimes awkward moments that lead towards self-health. My artwork is based on the emotions and struggles that we, as humans, all go through in life. I bring this passion for life in all its messiness into every medium I work with.
